Paragon Energy SolutionsParagon is seeking an Inside Sales
Engineer to join our team. The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible
for receiving, logging and researching clients request for quotes
(RFQ's). In addition to partnering with the outside sales team, the
Inside Sales Engineer will work with Operations and management for
continuous improvement and best practices opportunities.
Responsibilities:Read and understand client RFQ's to determine
technical and quality requirements and client expectations in order
to quote specific and correct products and solutionsProcess RFQ's
in accordance with procedures and provide accurate proposals to
clients in a timely mannerResearch for technical and quality
requirementsContact suppliers for quotes to develop Maintain all
quote files and information per the proceduresInterface with
engineering, production, purchasing and shipping as
requiredProofread all quote material for content and accuracy prior
to sending to clientRespond to client phone calls and emails in a
timely mannerAssist with order entry and other sales related
functions, as necessaryAssist Account Executives with client
interface and supportPerform other duties as assigned by
managementQualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering or
technical related field requiredMust have 3 - 5 years of sales or
customer service related experiencePrior experience with quoting or
working with DOD, DOE or international clients is a plusPrior
experience in the Nuclear industry is a plusStrong communication
skills (oral and written) requiredMust be computer proficient in
Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, other
computer Must have strong organizational skills and attention to
detailAble to handle multiple priorities and multi-task in a
fast-paced environmentPresent a professional image at all time to
customers (internal and external) and vendorsAble to work with
minimal supervisionAble to work with Account Executives and
Operations personnel to provide excellent customer serviceAble to
achieve and maintain rapport with clients to provide excellent
customer serviceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration
