Team:The Customer Account Management Services in the AT&T
Digital Strategic team is looking to build a scalable and
performant platform that will develop omni channel APIs to support
customer ordering and service management that will work seamlessly
across digital, Retail and Call center, IVR and chat channels. This
will be building the next generation of orchestration services to
be consumed by all clients.About the Position:AT&T Digital
Strategic Platforms team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer
who is passionate about the eCommerce industry and has analytical
and multi-task abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As
a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design
and development of various initiatives for AT&T's customer and
employee digital experience across our consumer distribution
channels. You will be part of the software product development life
cycle from inception to production launch and post-production
support. You must possess strong technical background to ensure you
are designing modular & scalable web components, you must have
experience working on cross-organizational software development
projects and have a well-rounded technical background in current
web and micro-service technologies.Responsibilities and Day-to-Day
View:
- Design, code, test, debug and document new and existing
components to ensure that software meets business, quality and
operational needs
- Work on a technical direction with team members and partners
with those teams in elaborating the Solution and its
interfaces
- Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise
Architects, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the
implementation of enablers
- Build high quality code following unit testing and test-driven
development
- Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, participate in
the definition of others
- Drive and participate in code and document reviews, mentoring
team in best practices
- Collaborate with peer organizations, dev ops, support
organizations on technical issues and provide guidance
- Interpret and translate business needs to technical
requirements and accurate estimates
- Work on tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest
quality and performance is achieved
- Work with team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and
efficientlyRequired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience including design,
development, testing, deployment, production application support
and maintenance
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or
equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in microservices development using
Java
- 2+ years of experience in cloud technologies: Azure, OpenStack,
Docker, KubernetesDesired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in design, development of Micro
services
- 2+ years of experience in API monitoring and dashboards using
ELK and Dynatrace
- 2+ years' experience with JSON, XML, SoapUI, and Postman, and
API documentation tool like Swagger
- 2+ years' experience in Kafka, Confluent Kafka and Azure Event
Hub
- 2+ years of experience in build and CI/CD technologies: GitHub,
Maven, Jenkins, Nexus or Sonar
- 4+ years of experience in Unit and Function testing using
Junit, Groovy/Spock, Mockito/Mock, SoapUI or Postman
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum/Kanban development
team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with
demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a
clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leadersSupervisory:
NoOur Senior Software Engineer employees earn between $130,700 -
$196,100 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards

this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and
